Hey, for anyone out there who is still reading my blog! I did not forget about it! In fact if you will notice on my side bar I added a new blog. Natalie, my soon to be sister-in-law, and Trent have started a blog. I was very excited about this so go and check it out!
As for my inactivity, well all I can say is HOUSE, HOUSE, HOUSE! We are getting very close to moving in, and it is a very good thing. We are very tired. We usually go up to the house ASAP in the mornings and come down for dinner and to get the kids ready for bed and then go back up to the house until at the earliest 11 p.m. We did however, get to go with Karl to Colorado this past week and that was soooo enjoyable. Yes, our trailer is still very broken but as long as we go somewhere that has full hook-ups it is still useable.
I have many, many pictures to post of our short, but refreshing trip, and of our beuatiful home (sorry Jeff!), but I can't post them today. I have a bridal shower and then it is back to the house!
We are so excited about our home and feel very humbled and blessed by having such a beautiful place. It is turning out just like we had planned. We have had much help from my dad, Mike, and Ryan Nelson, we couldn't have done it sooo quickly without them. Thank you and Thank you!!!!!
Heavenly Father has helped us so much and it is my prayer that we can do the things He would have us do, anything He would have us do!
Our door is always open to all of you!

Hey Amy... so glad to see that you wrote an update! Well, Alex has lots of plans for the rest of her amazing life... and I am pretty sure that's what it will be. She is an amazing girl and we have been so blessed to have her in our lives. She wants to be a Cardiologist. I thinks she's nuts...lol. She has Miss Sanpete on August 8th...yes you read that right... the same day as Trent's Wedding and you can bet that she is pretty upset about that! She can't get out of it and she really wanted to be there for Trent and Natalie! That is one busy weekend! Trent and Natalie, Alex and then April's boys Farewell. We shall be running! :)
We think it's cool Kenzi wants to do that pageant! It really has been a good experience for Alex. She has learned some good skills from doing it. Her interview skills for one. I am not sure what categories you have in that Little Miss Carbon County.. but the ones Alex has been in, the scores have counted for more in the talent and the interview areas. So, I would say find out where most of your scores come thru and work on those areas. For talent, we find alot of piano playing and singing. Alex does dance, but dance doesn't always seem to be the one that wins it. Kenzi does piano doesn't she? I don't know who you could call to help but I am sure if you have questions about how to do something then you could give Alex a call and she could help! When is it?
You know the new Miss Utah... well she was Miss Sanpete and she gives up her crown to the winner of the one Alex is in on Aug. 8th. Anyway, she is one of Alex's best friends. There is a picture of her with Alex on my blog. She is such a sweet girl and she won with modest formals and swimsuits. YAY!
